By and far our largest crop are Trachycarpus Fortunei,  the venerable Windmill palm.  Long recognized as an extremely cold-hardy palm with predictible growth patterns,  we offer some of the largest specimens of any nursery.  With over 30,000 singles and 2000 multiples we have plenty to choose from.    Windmills are offered from seed, bareroot seedling, to 19' overall.  Supply is definitly not a problem.

  Pindos or Butia Capitata have done very well for us, we have about 3000 5' foot oa and above as well as liners. The Pindo palm is also known as the Jelly palm for it's edible fruit.  An attractive, cold-tolerant palm, butia capitata can be found as far north as Washington state and as far south as Florida. It makes an attractive specimen, with light green, silvery-gray leaves.

Needle Palm scientific name Rhapidophyllum Hystrix  is the ultimate cold hardy palm.  We have them nearing 20 years old.  Crowns up to 4' with overall heights up to 7'.  We have large pruned singles, large masses, or 100gal container grown.

European Fan Palms

Chamaerops Humilis - European Fan palm  Chamaerops humilis grows in multiple trunk clumps. Growing from the base sucklings, give this palm a shrubby look. Trunks are covered in old leaf bases and brown fibers can reach 9 inches in diameter.  We have clumps up to 8' oa.  Also a limited number of Cerifera silver.
